Criteria: This award recognizes a full-time faculty member/librarian who has demonstrated excellence in the mentorship and advising of undergraduate students to be successful in their field. This can involve one or more of the following:
- Excellence in academic advising
- Excellence in mentorship of students
To be eligible for this award, individuals who advise many students or mentor students in scholarly research or other creative activity must also demonstrate a more holistic approach towards the mentorship of students.
Nomination: Faculty may be nominated by a faculty or staff member, self-nomination, or a student (current or former). In 250 words or less, describe the nominee’s exceptional record of student mentoring and advising.
