The Faculty Senate sponsors a slate of awards for faculty/librarians and academic departments annually. The Faculty/Librarian Recognition Awards honor individual faculty members who have shown excellence in areas such as teaching, research, advising and mentoring, and DEI. The Mildred Dahne Award recognizes an academic department or program that has shown particular excellence in its mission.
Nominations for Faculty/Librarian Recognition Awards are due on October 16th of each year, or the following business day. Nominations for the Mildred Dahne Award are due on March 29th at 11:59pm. Please send nominations directly to the Chair of the Faculty Awards Committee, Melissa Zrada.
